Monday morning tea with Michael: ‘Ché / Ché’ and the shadow man.

A year on from making the portrait of Michael, above, 21 May 2018. I was sitting outside Budds, when Michael came around the corner. Had I not only yesterday been looking for another photo made at this time last year, I’d have likely missed this moment. Only a few moments earlier the ‘shadow man’ caught the bus.

The memory was fresh, then the memory arrived. Michael arrived once again with his good humour and we updated the portrait. I suppose, on the surface, it stands as a simple moment.
