CROW ATTACKS IN BROAD DAYLIGHT!
Crow ATTACKS digital print of a Barn Owl before flying off!
This lone resident was shocked to discover a Crow attacking the digital print of a Barn Owl taped to the window before flying off to the trees in the distance.
"Crows get used to scarecrows. And a plastic owl or a bunch of rubber snakes will probably attract more crows – crows gang up on predators. They’ll scold a plastic owl and try to move it.” says John Marzluff

A list of songs featuring Crows HERE (A few missing.)
A few years ago crows featured in a series of my paintings and not for the first time. This series remains the one I get the most requests of “do you have any more, I love those paintings? Let me know if do more.”
The crow features in the logo (versions 1 & 2) of my website, I don’t know why I have a logo… but I do. www.jasonxlee.com
The above ‘attack’ or rather, encounter, is one of the many joyful moments while on the ‘reservation’, and took place shortly before watching this magical encounter between the Elk and James York.
Later I read what has since happened to the young bull Elk. Spoiler: It was 'Put Down'.
And today I saw this Interview with James York.
Apparently the young bull Elk could not be 're-trained to be fearful of humans…'
"According park spokeswoman Molly Schroer, the elk had been coming back to that area in search of food as a result of previous humans feeding him, and had begun associating humans with food.”
Read that again…

Quid pro crow.
Update: 26 Nov.
"Colchester Zoo’s keepers have been devastated by the loss of two of their beloved timber wolves," the spokeswoman said.
"Wolves are naturally timid and provided they are not cornered in any way do not provide a risk to the public."
